Hi all.

Well here we are, my CPR will expire August 31, thus the '90 days prior to... ' are approaching.

I'm filing through Mesquite, TX with biometrics in San Antonio, TX (office in a small mall area a few blocks behind the main USCIS building there) and compared to the I-129F hassle it seems a piece of cake.

During the first week of June I'll be submtitting the I-751 via priority mail with delivery confirmation, including a $275 cheque (from our joint bank account, so that's already a piece of the puzzle the USCIS will fit together) and copies of the following:

-2 year GC (both sides)

Documents with various dates, showing cohabitation during the past two years:

-TX DL of me and my wife, showing identical address

-Joint Tax returns

-Retirement plan and health and term life insurance through my job, showing my wife as beneficiary

-Joint bank account

-Joint car insurance

-Mail adressed to both of us

-Joint 'Sam's Club' account

I join the 'no-panic league' as this should be enough documentary evidence.

Will keep you posted on further developments.

Speedy processing Silvanski!

Your package, as you have noted is a bit on the lighter side, so if you have anything else handy throw it in there.

Apart from that make yourself comfy, TSC is slow and the wait long.

All the best!

Thanks peeps, I know patience is a virtue when dealing with USCIS and DHS :clock:

My list was not complete hehehe... pictures... coverletter of course... I also consider including a copy of the page in the phone directory which shows us listed as "Silvain and Kathleen xxxxx" with address and phone#

About affidavits... the guide says.

If you are short on the documents that have both of your names listed on them you MAY include affidavits from people who know you as a couple

I think my package won't be too light as I'm unearthing more stuff ;)

That's because you get to wait together rather than apart. Life goes on while this one works it's way through the bureaucracy.

you're so right about it. seems like it doesn't really matter wether it takes a month or a year, as long as we are together with our loved ones.

i must say though, it is kind of exciting to wait for something like an approval! ;)

Here we are again - waiting. But I agree now it's not such a big deal. I'm with my husband and sons.
