My SO is currently in Casa and has been over to the consulate. The roads are now opened to traffic. He spoke to three different police officers who told him to be there at 7:30 in the morning for his interview. Not sure if this means they will open or not. They didn't say the consulate was going to open, but they didn't say it wasn't going to. So keep your prayers going for both Jen's and my fiance that they will get to interview tomorrow.

6/15/07 NVC case # assigned.............It's about time!!

9/16/07 case complete after 2 RFE's for DS230

10/16/07 VISA!!

1/09/07 Packet 3 received from Cairo Embassy

2/12/07 Packet 3 returned to Cairo Embassy

5/6/07 Interview..........It's about time!!

as do i bc listening to the phone ring on the other end is annoying at 7 am lol. well God Bless to you whom ever may have a appt tomorrow. I do hope you all get to move on with this stuff with casa closing and all. inchallah we will all hear good news from them about opening. i cant pray hard enough for them to open more.

How it started:

10/17/05 Answered email from him asking to talk

10/20/05 First time talking on hotmail msn

2/5-15/06 First visit, love his family celebrated my 20th birthday there

6/15- 7/15/06 stayed at parents house again in Morocco got engaged

10/16/06 got a good job so I had to wait to see him again

1/14-28/07 went to see him again for the last time in Morocco

2/8/07 happy birthday to me and I sent the papers for K-1

2/12/07 NOA1 for K-1 visa

2/28/07 NOA2 For K-1

3/1/07 sent to Visa Center

4/15/07 interview

STUPID TERRORISTS RUINED THE INTERVIEW DATE

waited for 2 months of nothing

6/5/07 interview

6/10/07 got visa

6/26/07 came to america

8/8/07 got MARRIED YEA FINALLY!!!

2/21/08- Chicago received our package

Good Luck tomorrow ladies. Obviously the safety of the staff at the embassy is of paramount concern right now, but I hope once everything settles down and the embassy is given the all clear, things will get moving again in Morocco.

thanks for starting this thread for us. the other thread was ridiculous. wow great news!!!!!!!! i mean... at least there's HOPE for us, mona. my fiance is busy picking out a nice outfit and organizing his paperwork as we speak. i reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly hope there's light at the end of my seemingly endless dark tunnel tomorrow! now if i could just figure out a way to get rid of my neighbors............................ :ranting: if i prayed, i'd pray for you and i tomorrow!

my fiance just tells me this now that he was there at 7 am and they told him to wait and see if they will work he was told this by security guy and wait until 8 am and see if they will work. obviously they didnt accept him in bc we are still waiting hoping and praying. zakaria also told me that they had cars going in front of the embassy when he was there but that was a week ago and they were probably going through a process of upgrading their security systems. but i do hope for your hobies get to have their interviews

Oh I really pray this is good news, there are several people I know who have interviews this week who just feel like they are in limbo not knowing what is going to happen. Good luck to you all, keep us posted on anything you hear.
