Thanks .. I am actually using my list to make a phrase file for the game "Hangaroo" for Mylene so that she can play a game with these questions and learn from it ..

The questions are very thorough (some repetitive but with a twist) and I am sure will be helpful.

The only thing I would do is arrange them in topics - you SO bio (DOB, work, children (if any), exes (if any), phone number, family members, interests, hobbies...), Engagement (where, when, engagement ceremony/party yes/no, pics), Life in USA (what are your plans when you arrive in the US, school, adjustment), How you met (online, how long you talked... first meeting, other meetings, going where), Wedding (where, when, how many people attended, type of ceremony), Life together (where do you live, who cooks, favorite meal of SO (I was asked this question)...

I also think saying hi or good morning when you come for the interview with the consul will be helpful as well. Smiling (not grinning) also does.

I thought this was great - you did a real good job here and this will be so beneficial to so many people out there!!

Make sure that people know though that some of these things are not exact to every CO - for instance at Morocco CO - you will not pay in addition for the fingerprinting and medical exams are done a few weeks in advance of the scheduled interview also.

But this is a great guideline for anyone to follow for upcoming interviews!

Thanks for that great comprehensive list. Skimming it I think we've talked about 90% of the stuff there but I'll definitely be printing that so we are prepared.

In addition to that I have read somewhere in the forum about kind of abusive questions they sometimes ask (but I think it was for the green card interview...) but anyway, the questions were about ur sexual life and all similar staff...

I hope they do not ask those but still it is better to be prepared than not.

I'm still a few months away from dealing with the embassy in Manila but I'm headed over to spend 2 weeks with my wife in Zambales and I've got a file folder full of everything that has happened so far and will be happening in the near future ( she has no computer or internet access ). Thanks for putting together the Questions and advice list. It will be her study guide !
