Dear friends,

What about the evidence in the AOS?? I really don't know what to show evidence, we just have 2 months together and I don't have a job now, I still on the way to get used to USA and need time to learn for driving as well.

I was wondering what would you show evidence now in the submitting of AOS??

And if we don't want to change the my name, do we need to come back to Social Security Office to inform them about our marriage to change another the Social Security Card, on my card they have the words

"VALID FOR WORK ONLY

WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION"

It seems that I have to change to the normal Social Security Card eventhough we decided not to change the maiden name?? We applied for SSN before we got married.

The evidence you will need is for when you go to the interview it does not need to be sent with the AOS packet...

If you are filing your AOS in your married name then you may want to have the name changed on your SSN card....

You can not have the "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" until you have your Greencard...

Good Luck

You don't need evidence in your AOS packet beyond the required documents:

birth certificate of beneficiary (copy)

copy of visa from passport

copy of entry stamps and biographical page

copy of I-94 from passport (front and back)

2 passport-style photos of beneficiary

copy of NOA2 from your I-129F

copy of your marriage certificate

income documents and tax transcripts from petitioner for at least the last tax year

vaccination supplement if you're a K1

The complete list of requirements and downloadable forms is here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1k3aos

You don't need to send photos of you together, documents proving you live together (the addresses on your forms should be the same to prove that), showing you have the same insurance or a Blockbuster card...that's all shown at the interview if you have one.

As far as the SS card...I don't think I follow you. You are keeping your maiden name, but once you're work authorized you want to get a regular SS card without the "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" on it, correct? I believe that you should be able to go to the SS office once you have your EAD or Green Card and request a new SS card without that limitation printed on it. Otherwise, it's not a big deal. Your EAD and Green Card are DHS Authorization, so all you would have to do is show that to an employer.

Thank you for all of your explanation.

Another question is on the form G-325A is on the third row from the bottom to the top of page. They showed:

"This form is submitted in connection with an application for:

- Naturalization

- Status as Permanent Resident

- Other (Specify)."

What should I choose?? Should I choose both "Status as Permanent Resident" and "Other (Specify)"???
