HI EVERYBODY!

I WAS JUST WONDERING AND NEEDED EVERYBODY'S OPINION WHO HAS BOOKED THEIR SPOUSES FLIGHT COMING HOME ON A K-3. DO YOU BOOK A ROUND TRIP AND IF SO, WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE DATE FOR A RETURN DATE ( EVEN THOUGH THE SPOUSE IS STAYING). I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE WE DO EVERYTHING THE PROPER WAY SO HE DOESNT GET HASSLED WITH THE U.S. CUSTOMS.

THANKS EVERYBODY

Book what ever is cheaper, RT or One Way. If you do book a RT, it needs to have the first leg start in the foreign country, if the ticket starts in the USA and the first leg is not used, more than likely the airline will cancel the return trip.

You won't get hassled at customs about not having a return ticket, you are entering on a Visa type that allows adjustment of status to permanent residence.

We just came home from China and my fiancee (k-1) had just a 1 way ticket, and the immigrations officer did not need to see the ticket.

Hi Maureen,

Just checking in with you. Has the embassy called your husband to pick up his visa yet? Our interview is scheduled for April 18th and I'm curious to know how long it takes them to actually issue the visa. We're so happy for you and wish you the best.

Thanks for a reply.

Irene
