Changing addresses

Has anyone had an experience with changing addresses (out of state move) while the AOS is pending? Does the case get transfered?

Here's a repost -- worked for them:

My husband and I changed our address just last month. We sent both AR-11's and I-865's (sponsor change of address form) accompanied by a cover letter that included his A # and case #'s to the following places:

• The Kentucky Address on the AR-11 Form
  
• The Lee's Summit Office, where our case was last known to be (address found on the bottom of the last correspondence we received from USCIS)
  
• The California Service Center, as noted by the I-865
  
• Our former local District Office (though this letter was returned to sender....)
  

All of this accompanied by calling the Change of Address in to the 1-800 #. So far, it seems to have gone smoothly. We just received an interview notice at our new address!

I'm going through the same dillema... We may keep the other apt not to file the change of address before the interview. I bet it could slow down the process or the documents may be lost...

It's really probably up to how diligent you are in keeping on USCIS to get the information going, and how close you are to your interview or having something processed. Organization appears to be a key point.
