Hye Gigo,

You didn't write much about your situation but you should make up your mind. My fiance and I have been engaged for 9 months already and we just decided to start now on paperworks. It was my fault, I told him to wait but I'm now regretting coz we haven't submitted anything yet. We just decided to go for Fiance Visa. I wanna be with my fiance already but we now have to wait. :(

There are plenty of people here willing to help but the first thing you need to do is to simply help yourself by providing some needed info. We are not mind readers and the best answers come from good information and right now you are making us guess. Not a good situation. We have nothing. Questions such as are you engaged? married? are you the USC or non-USC. Important answers will help guide you through this.

YMMV

Thank you all for messages. I will try better to help you know more about me. I really think that is good picture of China. Did you take picture yourself? I also really like those flags everyone has. They are cool. I want to get one someday but I not sure they have one for my country. It is little country in coast of middle west africa.

My b/f lives in USA in state of North Dakota. I think that is near Canada. He is in air force military. I want to marry him so badly and cannot stand to be apart.

You said you were not sure what visa to apply for. If you are engaged but not married you apply for a K-1 visa. If you are married first then you apply for a K-3. If you are engaged buy marry before you get here you have to start over so don't do that. Hope that helps a little. By the way the K-1 is usually a little faster than the K-3.

12/14/2006 Applied for K-1 with request for Waver for Multiple filings within 2 years.

Hi,

Now that we know more about your sittuation, here is my personal advice:

If your boyfriend from US Airforce want to marry you, then he needs to file a pettition for you (I-129F) with the USCIS office to get you a K-1 fiancee VISA. Once you'll get your foot on US soil, you have 90 days to marry your fiancee, or you'll have to go back to your country.

If there are no marriage intentions at this time, you can try to visit him on a tourist visa, and he can help you to get that by sending you a I-134 Affidavit of support.

I hope this helps a little.

Good luck!

Vik

While this may be quite true for some countries I believe that without fairly strong social or economic ties to her country the I-134 is not going to get her a tourist visa alone.
