thank you in advance for all of your help....i just recieved a letter from immigration concerning my son..... the letter stated that because the marriage took place after his 18th birthday, he cannot receive beneficiary statrus from me., my son received k3 and received all approvals, we went to aos interview, and all was okay awaiting fbi check...now this..........i don't know how this will impact my family...my wife is at work now and doesn't know about the situation as of yet. i have contacted my senator and have made an infopass appointment, but i cannot be seen prior to feb 13th.....i really don't know what to do....it is so sad...we are such a close family....

Did the marriage take place after his 18th birthday?

If so, the previous errors in processing do not grant immunity from the law. The errors need to be corrected.

When did you receive your K-1 visa? If he is under 21 and applies for K-2 within one year of your K-1 visa issuance, then he can come on a K-2 visa.

Please clarify your situation so we can advise you better.
