Are you the US citizen? if so, your fiancees Affadavit of support will be worthless.

Support documentation has to come from the petitioner (US citizen).

As to the cost, That is somewhat of a question without an answer, the fees for this and that can easily be tallied, but there are loads of associated costs such as travel, phone bills etc.

I think the most accurate answer I can give you is, It will cost you every cent you can afford...

Or even better... if you have to ask you most likely can't afford it. My fiancee is from the philippines and by the time everything is said and done it will cost us about $4000 to include her and my step son's plane tickets. Now if you throw in my trips to the Philippines to see her... well over $12,000... then figure in the cost of two weddings, trips back home... the many phone calls back home because she is home sick... as i said before if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Totally depends on how your case proceeds. Ours hasn't gone smoothly at all and with attorney fees, flights, filing fees, repeated EAD applications, etc. we have spent close to the tune of $75,000!

The answer to your question "how much is this going to cost" is like asking "how long is a piece of string".

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

That's a lot of flights.

This link will tell you how much different forms cost to file:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

Other costs, such as the cost of the medical exam, flights etc. vary.

Don't worry- you just pay as you go. You don't have to be a millionarire to bring your fiance over.

your info is a little too vague to provide any estimate. some fees are I-129f $170, Visa application $100,

I-485 (AOS) $325, Biometrics $70, I-765 (EAD) $180.

other costs vary from individual to individual. everyone's situation is not the same.

When asking "what will it cost" we have to qualify that. We have:

- The cost of trips to visit fiance(e), and how many trips?

- The actual costs for the K1 VISA?

- Travel costs for fiance(e) to travel to the US?

- The additional costs of immigration (AOS, etc.)?

We shouldn't include normal costs of engagement ring, wedding or honeymoon as those apply in any engagement and marriage.

I-129f - $170

Visa application - $100

I-485 (AOS) - $325

Biometrics - $70

I-765 (EAD) - $180

A lifetime with your soulmate - PRICELESS

In my own case, I cross out the EAD since we won't be doing that, but add on the cost of the medical exam. So for us it's...

Visits - $2250

I-129f - $170

Visa application - $100

Medical Exam - $200

I-485 (AOS) - $325

Biometrics - $70

Final Trip to the US - $650 minimum

That's probably going to push $4000 easily...
