I was able to talk to Maggie in Casa for only a few minutes (thnaks to a low moblie phone battery).

Omar had his interview. I asked her how it went and she was unsure. They gave Omar a sheet f paper (wich sounded like the usual form) and checked the "other" box rather than the 221g box. It then says at the bottom, waiting for adminstrative procession in Washington DC

Maggie is unsure because she was with someone else who had an interview (Not sure who? Hicham?) who receive the same form but had the 221g checked.

The line was terrible and Maggie said she would have to email me soon because the battery ont he mobile was going.

Never had a chance to ask who she interviewed with or other details arrrgghhh

BUT I told maggie it sounds like standard security checks and not to worry. Any ideas?

Hi all....

I'm chatting with Maggie on MSN and she has asked me to clarify something. She can't get onto VJ...password probs. She said that since MBP couldn't hear her very well due to the connection she wanted me to clarify. Here goes...

Maggie thinks that the paper that Omar received said that there are administrative procedures that needed to be completed in DC but she's not completely sure since it was all in French. Also, she's concerned because the CO was more interested in knowing about her ex husband than about her relationship with Omar.

So they don't know if it was the standard 221g for AP or something else IOW?

Yes after I have been able to really read the paper word by word, I found it to be the standard 221g, AP. Hope it goes fast. Thanks to all of you for your words of encouragement. although i was not able to post directly while away from my computer with cookies  I was reading the posts. Now I just wait. But I see Yasmine and the other person with an early Nov date have not reported any news...is this correct???
