They asked us for an updated employment letter even though we submitted one with the application. I have been working at the same place for 9 years and make several times the required amount, but they still wanted an updated letter.

On our appointment letter, the only 2 things that said "unless already submitted" were the I-864 and the medical

The rule is to bring copies of everything that has been sent up to and including any thing new, I have a file folder with copies of original petition, and every thing sent back to me since then. They may say "unless already submitted" but don't assume that they have a complete copy of your file there when you interview.

I dose not hurt to bring more than is needed than to arrive and have them ask you for something that you thought was not needed and you left home.

Proof of citizenship is just that Birth Certificate, And passport.
