hello everyone. I have been on this site on and off for 6 months now.

Any way I had to file a I601 waiver at the Sydney consulate due to 2 Assault conviction 6 years ago.

People can you belive that it only took 6.3 weeks to be approved.

all I submitted was a 4 page hardship letter that my USC fiance and I compiled and 2 character references for myself. Thats it.

I am suprised as you all are, and very extatic as well.

All this nonsense that you will read on this and other forums about Bangkok being impossible to be approved by, is false They are awsome.

I know that I am going on but WOW I am so happy.

I will happily answer all questions and provide a copy of my hardship letter if requested.

Congratulations and that is a great turn around time for a waiver.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

I have read several times on this forum that bangkok is impossible and rarley approve I 601's. I am lucky that mine came so quickly yes, but mine like so many others get approved because the department of homeland security just want the revenue that it raises. There is even a link to that on WWW.USCIS.GOV.

Out of the few people that talk of there approvals on this forum there is 50 more that get approved.

So the impossible ####### about bangkok is BS

I got a phone call on my mobile phone from the lady at the US Consulate telling me that she had the good news. I asked her when I could pick the Visa up and she said in 2 days.
