We are approved. So how long time will take me to receive my packet 3. So now its giong (automatically after approved?) to NVC? (what happens there - namechecks, anything else?) and then to embassy and then embassy will send it to me, right?

How long can it stay there in NVC and where I can look informatin about this process and stage we are.

They say 2-4 weeks. Maybe less, maybe more. Just depends on your petition arrival date, Security/Name checks and further transmission to the applicable Embassy/Consulate.

Call them frequently.

Hi!! I received my e-mail notification on Tuesday that my case had been approved on Monday, August 28. Well, just because I'm restless I decided to call NVC, and they told me that they had received and processed my case on WEDNESDAY! I was shocked because I thought it would take like a week or so to get there. Anyway, the guy did say that he wasn't sure when they were going to send it out to Jamaica, so that means I'll be calling back in a couple of days!!! Good luck everyone!

You have to contact NVC. Call them and talk to a live operator, give them your NOA1 number, the beneficiary's name and birth date and they'll be able to help you with any questions you have. You can also e-mail, but they take a few days to reply.

I think I called about 10 days after I got my NOA2 and they said it was received and sent to the consulate. NVC will also be able to give you the case number the consulate will use. When you call the consulate, this new case number will be what they refer to. As other folks have said, the automated system with NVC doesn't work for K1 visas.
