Ok. Its great seeing K3 approvals everyday. But all of them are those who sent old I-129F and got, and responded to IMBRA RFE. We must figure out now, how many pre-IMBRA applicantions are still pending. This may tell us when will they start working on new I-129F forms.

You can help us by either updating your timeline, or using this thread to post your situation. Please post following on this thread:

member name - Old or New Form - NOA1 Date - Approved/Pending.

We really would like to take an idea of how many pre-IMBRA I-129Fs are pending, so if your's is pending, please post. Thank you soooo much.

10/02/2006 - NVC Generates AOS Bill & DS3032 Choice of Agent

12/22/2006 - Case Complete

12/28/2006 - Forwarded to Embassy

06/13/2006 - Mailed to Chicago

06/22/2006 - NOA1

11/14/2006 - I129F APPROVED ! Email Notification Received !!!

11/21/2006 - NVC Receives file and assigns Case #

12/25/2006 -- Packet 3 for K-3 received

01/31/2007 - Chennai consulate interview

Called Consulate in the first week of Januaray 2007 to get an CR1 Interview in the place of K-3 appointment. Approved by consulate.

01/23/2007 -- Packet 4 received ( Cr1)

01/31/2007 -- CR1 Approved.

Received only one RFE on 07/26/06 and my husband sent back the same day. On 08/02/06 received an email saying they received RFE. Do you guys think that now, after 20 days, they are going to send me a second RFE or the approval? I´m confused about that.

Received only one RFE on 07/26/06 and my husband sent back the same day. On 08/02/06 received an email saying they received RFE. Do you guys think that now, after 20 days, they are going to send me a second RFE or the approval? I´m confused about that.

Im assuming the RFE was for IMBRA? That being the case, IMBRA RFE's were only issued so that a petition was compliant with the IMBRA. Some were issued erronously on the new I-129F. When they start processing your petition, an adjudicator will determine if there is anything that hasnt been completed correctly/fully or if they need any further evidence, and they will issue an RFE for such.
