How much money will I need now?

Our I130 was approved and a case number was assigned at the NVC. I have read lots in forums and on the government sites, but am still confused as to how much money I'll actually need to get the visa from here. I know there is the medical exam (around $250) and the fee we pay at the consulate (around $380). Are there other large costs involved that I should plan for?

Thanks!

Approval Dates:

I130 Approved (NOA2) 7/20/06 (144 Days)

I129 Approved (NOA2) 8/24/06 (41 Days)

Documents we have so far:

Criminal/police record check.

Immunization records/medical history (including negative Tb, HIV, syphyllis, etc).

Chest x-ray.

His birth certificate (long form).

Our marriage certificate.

My divorce decree.

Our passports.

Wedding photos, cards, credit cards, health insurance, evidence of legitimate marriage.

Notarized I-134 and supporting documents.

Notarized I-184 and supporting documents.

Five additional passport photos each.

So we gotta pay the I-864 processing fee, the immigrant visa fee bill, the medical exam fee, and then a bunch of money to the consulate when we pick up our visa? How much are all these fees? My head is spinning at the amount of information out there, not all of it the same.

AOS Bill (I-864) = $70

IV Bill (DS-230 - Immigrant Visa) = $380

Whateve it costs you for the medical.

There is no bunch of money to the consulate as all fees are paid at NVC level.

You have to pay the AoS bill ($70), the IV fee bill ($380), and the medical exam (varies by doctor).

edited to say: Sorry, AW, looks like I'm a bit slow today. ;)
