hi everyone, just want to ask if it's ok to ask for monthly support from your fiance or just wait for him to send voluntarily? or just wait for him to realize it's a responsibility or is it a responsibility really for a fiance to give monthly support? - aix

3/11/06 - 3/26/06 Visited my baby in the PI's

3/29/06 - K1 packet recieved at NSC

6/01/06 - Redirected to CSC

6/14/06 - CSC e-mailed confirmation on the reciept of file

6/23/06 - They they sent the IMBRA RFE

7/03/06 - The emailed that the IMBRA RFE went out on 6/23/06

7/03/06 - I received IMBRA RFE

7/05/06 - Touched

7/06/06 - Delivery Confirmation from the Post Office RFE recieved

once you are in the country I fully say yes .. but don't you have a job and a life where you are?

Money is not an issue but a Fiance visa is not a cheap thing to come by fees and all.

Wow! If i was asked I would run the other way questioning motives and sincerity!!!

It really depends on the relationship, but how did you make it before? How does being engaged make an entitlement?

That would only be appropriate if the fiance asked you to quit a job or changed something that changed your economic situation....

Just my opinion.

I really would wonder quickly if I was told it was my 'responsibility'. I understand trying to help out, but my 'responsibilty' is bringing us together.

I would quickly question motive and if someone wasnt an 'opportunist' just by the question
