List of those who applied using the pre-IMBRA form who hasn't been sent RFE yet

Please. I know there are a few of us out there. I called the USCIS and spoke to someone requesting a new IMBRA RFE be mailed but the person told me that none has been sent. What I'm confused about is that there have been people who have NOA1's around the same time as mine (June 14th) who received their RFE's back in June and already turned them in, yet my case hasn't even been touched. Not sure when to contact my Senator on this, so I'd like to know how many others have yet to receive their IMBRA RFE.

We're on the same boat... except that you started earlier than we did, which doubles the frustration I know.

My fiance has not received anything by mail from the USCIS. Our lawyer just scanned his copy of the NOA1 and sent it to us. And before that, the Receipt Number at the back of the check doesn't get accepted in the Case Status Online System. which drove me nutty. Yup, USCIS administrative failings. of which there are many.

And no IMBRA RFE... yet. We sent a request for information thru the lawyer, and a case update last August 2nd reflected that they got that request. Now we wait what they will do then.

Actually, take a look at the CSC approval list. There are several people who had June NOA1, and not only received their RFE's, but also were approved! Crazy!

But I appreciate the need for patience. I didn't even call the service center after 30 days. But now it's going into 7 weeks with no touches. I don't know when to take action.

Just called the USCIS again and I explained to this person that since I used the old form and know it will mean an RFE, could I send an updated form with an explanation to amend my petition and she said as long as I make it clear using a sticky or something so that the officer doesn't assign a new receipt number.

I will do this and attach my current receipt number to it - hopefully save them some time as well as 'force' my case to be touched.

Anybody have any thoughts about it?

yup.. atty used the old form.

oh.. and got another touch August 3... anyways.. we're waiting for the reponse they mentioned in the August 2 emails...

oh, I know the new form already includes the IMBRA questions, but our lawyer did ask my fiance if he received an RFE in the mail... and I've seen some cases here wherein they used the new form and got RFE's anyways, after a month of getting NOA1.. so if that is true, we should be getting that RFE within a week.. maybe.. hopefully..

I guess I'm just getting too anxious to get that RFE step out of the way...but seeing how many have been waiting for longer periods of time humbles me.

Anyhow, I think my case belongs to a new thread then...

Hey! After emailing CSC and calling USCIS, I finally received an email confirming they will look into my inquiry! So my petition has finally been touched for the first time!

I'm planning on filling out the new, post-IMBRA I-129F and send it off Monday as an amendment since I don't think it will hurt or delay my petition. If they end up sending me the IMBRA RFE anyway, oh well. I'm not going to sit back for 50 more days without them doing something with my petition! Not when they're approving so many May/June petitions.

Hey! After emailing CSC and calling USCIS, I finally received an email confirming they will look into my inquiry! So my petition has finally been touched for the first time!

I meant to say that I have been a victim of the immigration system for the last 14 years. I only became a US citizen this year. Sorry for the confusion.
