Well my last reply from the CSC email line is as follows:

The California Service Center (CSC) does not accept inquiries from the general public via email. All inquiries must be submitted to the National Customer Service Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. The National Customer Service Center will route your inquiry to the appropriate USCIS District Office or Service Center, and will track your inquiry to a final resolution. If you've received a transfer notice regarding your case, please inform the National Customer Service Center at the time you submit your inquiry. The National Customer Service is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, PST.

So the last "real" way to get a hold of someone who could actually tell you something is no longer there. What a shame.

Not sure if you have this address or not, CSC-XII.129f@dhs.gov. Last Friday I sent them an e-mail and received a response today. However, careful what you wish for. Here is the response: "Your response to the RFE was received 7/18/2006 and will be adjudicated in the order in which it was received. You will be notified by mail when adjudication is completed." It's a response but not to any of the questions that were included in my e-mail. The frustration continues to build.......

Good Luck!

That is the email address I used and have been using for the last 5 months. In the past the responses while limited were light years better than that I would get from the 800 number.

In june I recieved a response stating that my application was being processed and to wait 30 days. Which is better than the last one which stated the application was being requested for processing. Which of course was better than the 800 number who had no information.

This time I sent an email on Sunday with the reciept number, NOA-1 and a simple statement saying it had been 30 days since my last email.

The response I got was copied and pasted into my first thread. I also checked my online status today and it shows that I recieved a response as of today.

So it's possible that they changed the procedure effective Monday (first day of August so it makes sense).

Caagirl you might note that number was actually included in the email I reply I recieved from them. I have used this number in the past which is why I refer to it as the national diservice center. In the 10 times I've called them they never have any useful information available they file a request which meant I would recieve a reply in about 2 weeks on average. That reply contained less information that I would normally recieve in an email exchange from CSC. I dread making those phone calls as it's often hard to remember to be nice considering the lunacy in place with this system.

iceyspots ss we are not MOC we qualify as general public even though we are customers.

I got the same canned response... about not being open to the general public. So I called the line and got a stupid response.. Oh well.

Hello iceyspots,

Just want to ask if you called the National Customer Service Center? Plan on calling tomorrow. :) Sorry to hear it's been 175 days for your waiting and no NOA2 yet, same with ours. ;) Hope we get our NOa2 soon.
