Dear Montreal,

In light of the fact that I now know that you and most of your consular officials are reading VisaJourney, I figured I should make this thread. Please accept my sincerest apologies if I have ever said anything that may have been construed as a derogatory comment, including but not limited to, "wow, they're really freaking slow", "what the hell is going on in Montreal?", and/or "I wonder if they'll be done with our applications before the next ice age."

As a token of our appreciation for your work, our papers, photos and forms have been meticulously arranged for easy access at our interview on Monday.

I second this. I think a lot of us have said things out of frusteration with the process more than actual anger at the staff except maybe some of the consulate reviews.

iam just kind of confious here , u interview date was quick than other pple (3 to 4 months after the pakcet 3 was sent )! i have no clue how the consualt works!!! really confious

We don't know how it works either. A bunch of us recently got scheduled for interviews en mass. Some people waited 4+ months. Others (such as myself) waited only 1 month to get the interview date.

Just submit all of the required paperwork along this journey and you will have your interview date in due time.

Aww, see, now I was thinking of posting something like this, even though I'm not at the consulate stage yet. I felt bad for some of the things I said, like the references to Gilligan's Island and what not. Since they are probably going to see this as some point, I do appreciate you working overtime, and I am most definitely looking forward to going to my interview with my silly little Canadian, despite being scared to death of airplanes! I hope that my getting on an airplane is good proof of a relationship (I seriously wouldn't do that for just anyone, or anyone at all up until now...) ... but in case it's not, I will make sure we're as organized as we can be, with lots and lots of evidence!

Not to mention, I am looking forward to seeing some of the sights of Montreal! Never been there!!!

A few of us had interviews last week, and they were told that by the director (I think..) and they also said we were the most organized, etc, etc...

I think Missa wrote about what they said in her consulate review.

Several USCIS offices and Montreal Consulate do read VJ. They like the site because we are the best prepared.

The Consular Section Chief interviewed some of us. Yes, they read VJ, it was verbally told to more than one of us. In my review as well. See timeline.
