Hi guys!! blessed sunday to all.. i need your help regarding our co-sponsor.. im under k1 visa petition and my fiance needs a co sponsor. could somebody tell me what forms do i need to get from my fiance aside from the form I-134? is it the form I-864 or I- 864a? pls need your help.. thanks to all smile.gif godbless!

Hello!

You will need to get the I-134 from the co-sponsor as well plus all of the supporting documents for both your fiancè and the co-sponsor. You don't need the I-864 at this point, you will use this after you arrive in the US. Good luck with your journey, I hope it will be a smooth one :star:

12.03.09 - Visa on hand!!

12.28.09 - POE in Seattle

02.13.10 - Our wedding day xD

12.14.12 - Mailed I-751 - Here we go again!

12.17.12 - Package delivered

12.20.12 - Received NOA 1 - dated 12.17.12

TIMELINE I-130

June 29, 2009 - sent packet I-130

July 9, 2009 - received NOA1 (thanks God)

Sept. 9, 2009 - received approval email from USCIS thru CRIS

Sept. 14, 2009 - NOA2 hardcopy received by husband

Sept. 18, 2009 - case number assigned (NVC process starts)

Nov. 4, 2009 - CASE COMPLETE @NVC!

Nov. 13, 2009 - interview date assigned by NVC

DEC. 10, 2009 AT 6:30AM

re scheduled DECEMBER 1, 2009- INTERVIEW - white slip (passport and medical results from st. luke

Dec 14, 2009 - VISA received

Dec 21, 2009 - USA arrival (POE - San francisco)

Jan. 6, 2010 - SSN received

Jan. 7, 2010 - 2 years GC received

usually in k1 visa most cases in philippines ...consul won't allow co-sponsor...my friend was denied because of this..

It's actually an 'old wives tale' that Manila will not accept a sponsor other than the petitioner.

Anecdotally they are unhappy about sponsorship by an 'un-vested' party. But sponsorship by a family member of the petitioner happens every day at Manila.
