LEBANESE cafe has been the target of a drive-by shooting in Perth's eastern suburbs.

The Prophet Cafe, in East Victoria Park, was sprayed with bullets about 12.30am (WST) today, Sergeant Greg Lambert said.

"Someone from there has reported shots being fired at his premises and a window being broken," Sgt Lambert said.

The owner of the cafe and two other people were inside the cafe at the time but were not harmed, he said.

As many as five shots were fired at the cafe from a four-wheel-drive, Sgt Lambert said.

A burnt-out stolen BMW was found soon after the shooting was reported in neighbouring Victoria Park.

"We're still trying to work out if it is linked to the shots being fired," Sgt Lambert said.
