Any Sept. Filers having trouble signing into account?

Hi,

I tried posting my question in what I think is the right forum, USCIS service center, but only got one reply.

Im thinking either Im the only one encountering this problem or maybe that people who already had an account set up dont have the issue.

I created an account on the USCIS webpage and, although it lets me see my case status, when I try to log into my account, it opens a new window with a "500 Internal Server Error" message.

I am wondering if any of the September filers who just tried to setup their account are having this problem?

I have tried a few times on different days and have cleared my browsing memory etc. like I was suggested, but still get the same result.

I haven't had any problems logging into my account (Other than forgetting my password every now and then).

Are you using the following form? https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp

yeah... that link... still not working. I even changed my password to make sure it ddnt have something to do with that!

: ( not sure what I should do. They say duplicate accounts will be deleted... that wouldnt help!

same here. I created my account a few days ago, when I try to log in it shows the 500 error, then I click F5 on my keyboard to refresh the page, it opens my account, but then again when I try to enter my portfolio in order to sign in and get emails, it shows 500 error again and there's no way I can log in.

Ok, so I've been having this same exact problem since the beginning.

So cleaning your temporary/cache/cookies files will fix it, but it comes back...

So what I do is, I hit the backward button, you'll see you can actually log out, so Sign Out, and then log again, and finally it works.

Are you guys logging from the US or a different country? I've been thinking it's a proxy problem. I get it on the 3 different computers I use, IE or Firefox...

Perfect, I followed your instructions and I could finally log into my portfolio and add the e-mail notifications Thank you!

I don't know why it's not working properly, it might be a proxy problem, I'm logging from Italy.

Deleting the cache etc. didn't help in my case, but I managed to get into my account and set up the email notifications through some weird roundabout way.

I still cant log in directly, but if after I entered my account info (and get the 500 message) I click on different links, like check Processing times, then click on Portfolio it ends up working eventually... it's like I have to sneak up on it!

Very odd. I am logging in from Canada...
