My fiance is a retiree. He gave me the following as supporting document for the I-134:

- Notification of Personnel Action indicating details of his retirement from the government agency he used to work

- Statement of Annuity Paid for the years 2006 to 2008 attached with corresponding Form 1040

- Recent Statement of Accounts from 2 banks

- Statement of his stock investments

- Parcel Master Data Sheet of his properties

are there other documents that would be required from us by the USEM for my interview, him being a retiree?

Is there anyone here whose fiance/husband is a retireee? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tax transcripts for 2008.

SSA 1099

Thanks Haole. What is the Tax transcript for? I have his tax returns for 3 years (2006-2008) which indicates his total income (from pension and stocks investments) and taxes paid, is this not sufficient?

He does not draw social security benefits yet so I guess there's no need for the SSA 1099? He gave me his social security statement though indicating what he's supposed to be getting when he draws from it.

If you got copies of the filed income tax returns, there's no need for the transcripts. good luck!

If you don't submit tax transcripts you will need W2s or 1099s to back up the returns.

I saw El Cordobes fight in TJ about 43 years ago!~

I checked my docs again, the second item in my original post is actually the Form 1099 (Statement of Annuity Paid) so I guess Im good to go. Thanks again Haole.
