....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Jaws..thanks...yes we girls ( Jonesie, Gilli, Yaads, Lawny, shemmy and you :)) are really blessed. I know for me..it was nver easy in the beginning..U KNOW..BUT we got passed that...one thing tho we never lost our love for each other no matter the fighting...

There are many of us that are blessed. We all go through our ups and downs with any relationship, but most of the time that just makes the love you have for eachother even stronger. It was a bit rough when Ray came here and from time to time he still has his days of being sad and missing home, but we talk about it and keep it moving. One thing about me is that I keep it real about my relationship and I don't hold back from anyone because there's always at one someone who can learn something from it.

SunRay you are so right when you are able to get through the hard times TOGETHER it only solidifies the relationship! I can attest to that now, I know most men would go running from the drama my kids are putting us through but it has strengthened our bons and he stands by me through it all he is my rock!

now that is a new one...I remember my sister and I used to use chewing gum to make fingernails...all kinds of junk stuck to our hands by the time we were finished playing and the gum would start drooping around our fingertips...then we would crush soda cans with our foot and let it hang off our heels so we could sound like we had high heels on...man the memories.

Jawi I love that, LOL @ the bubble gum fingernails. I do remember the crushed soda cans and walking down the driveway making so much noise LOL

ANOTHER???? sunny, girl u have been freed from the chains tho, take me to the underground railroad!!!. i got on FB while roger in the shower last night.. however i wasn't thru catching up when he got out.. so he gave me another 15 min b4 him say.. "TIME FI PUT DI PHONE DOWN BABE"

LOL Quanna that line has me rolling!

I just had to stop reading in part 18 to talk about what Trelawny experienced with the teacher. If Tre's son was in my class, I would do a multi-cultured lesson and create a lesson especially about Jamaica and about children that have bi-racial parentage. Tre, your son's teacher needs to be ashamed of herself for what she put lil man through. Can't blame you for removing him from her class, obviously she lacks class! What made me feel bad is just imaging your son have to explain himself to the other kids. Don't parents and teachers realize that kids go through stress too? She stressed him out for no dayum reason...
