:crying: my hubby visa was denied today. I can't believe it, this dosen't seem real, the reason was "DSL-section 212 (g).. what can we do from here?

222g is a denial based on the Immigration and Nationality Act, and that particular section deals with denials based on a previous visa overstay. Has your husband ever overstayed while on some other visa? Depending on how long, he may be eligible for a waiver, but they would have told him that at the time of the interview.

What exactly was written on the letter your husband received with the denial?

no he didn't over stay on a old K1 visa from 10 years ago, they did put in there that he is not eligible for a waiver

Wait, I'm confused...was it a questionable relationship denial or an overstay/illegal presence denial. OP, please redact the words of the letter that your husband was given at the time of the denial.

Contact an immigration attorney asap. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. He could be entitled for a waiver.

he's had a K-1 visa before? So he's come to the US as a fiancee before, it didn't work out and he returned home? He did or didn't overstay the 90 days?

apparently he is not...it was written in the letter the OP's husband received from the consulate. Eligibility for a waiver is decided at the time of the interview and the visa applicant will be notified of the eligibility at that time.

The involvement of an experienced attorney may definitely be the way to go, but it depends on the grounds for denial, for if the denial is overcome-able then a lawyer can help, but if it is a hard denial and no way around it....well that's a different story alltogether.

Denied because of drug use?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Did you just say, "last used Weed"? I hope that doesn't mean what I think it does.

I know this is hard but you need to be clear if you want help and you need to be honest so that people can be of use to you and hopefully use any of your pitfalls and resolutions thereof, to aid their own cases.

We help you to help us, you know?
