August 2009 I-751 filers

Hello there fellow 'Removing of conditions in August' people!

Figured I would start a topic for all us August filers to keep in touch.

My 90 day window begins on the 4th August as my Green Card expires on the 1st November 2009.

Unfortunately I cannot file until the 17th August as we are away on vacation from tomorrow onwards. That still leaves us with about 75 days in the window if we overnight it to the VSC. It bothers me that we can't file it exactly 90 days before, but it's the best we can do...

So who else is with me?

We're in! My husband's green card expires on November 5th, and his 90-day window opens on August 8th. We don't know how soon the baby will make his appearance, and my husband will need the NOA as soon as possible for school, so we need to have his packet ready to send in on the very first day. We've spent the last two evenings copying and compiling, and we expect to have everything completely assembled by tomorrow evening, so all that will be left to do is carry it to the post office and overnight it. It's been fun reliving the last two years of our life together

I'm actually really bummed we can't do ours right away, but I guess 75 days is still enough...

Congratulations on the baby! That's great news!

And it is fun remembering the last two years together, especially with photographs anyway... Not really enjoyed looking at old bank statements

I know exactly what you mean! We can't do our removal of conditions until Sept., but we are trying to get things ready so we won't have to spend a week messing with it. Bank Statements suck, but the cruise pictures and Baby pictures are FUN!!

Good luck to all filers! My 90 day window opens today but I am still on my road trip with Dannie (grand canyon next stop) so I will mail when we get back on the 17th. Wish we could have mailed today though!

what does approval mean here? The actual greencard? Receipt of application? Or is the application really approved and the greencard is coming soon? Thanks
