Some people asking why we go thru hustle at the American embassy in Cairo is so simple because of the

bad apple and the bad apple is every where not just in Cairo embassy is all over. Yes some people there

so diapered to go to USA for batter life by all mean (education or make money ) every one have goal in life

and they like to succeed but it must be in a good way and I am sure must of you know what I mean by that .

For the last 2 years there are big numbers of fraud cues regarding marriage fraud and documents fraud at US

embassy in Cairo, my question is very simple how we fix this problem

And for those who they thing they can get a way with some fraud I like to sat to them make

sure think again before you twice before you do it . And you will make it hard for you and for the

other and you must know that ..

Ya think?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Fraud Prevention Unit

Welcome

Welcome to the Fraud Prevention Unit of the U.S. Embassy in . Our principal mission is to safeguard U.S. borders by detecting and stopping fraud in applications for U.S. passports, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, immigrant visas and nonimmigrant visas. We accomplish this critical goal by training Consular Section staff on fraud detection, maintaining close cooperation with U.S. and Colombian law enforcement agencies and deploying our staff of highly trained investigators to conduct interviews and investigations.

The consequences of fraud are extremely serious. If you commit fraud, not only will you lose the benefit that you are seeking, but you may also have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and you may even go to jail. The Fraud Prevention Unit, working closely with the American Citizen Services Unit, the Immigrant Visa Unit, the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit, the Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, and the Department of Homeland Security, aggressively pursues fraud cases, referring individuals as appropriate for prosecution under U.S. and/or Colombian law.

Do you seriously think that this thread will make someone not commit fraud in order to get to the US from Egypt? I believe you have good intentions but I'd just let this be. There's fraud in many many countries, not just Egypt. Try going through Pakistan! Take a look at how long they have to wait to get their visa and then you'll be grateful you're going through Cairo.

I'm glad that you're happy about hiring all of these fraud investigators but I'm curious to see if the level of happiness remains when you've been waiting 8 months after your interview and the detectives visit your home not once but twice.
