The IMBRA Song

To the tune of "Don't Worry Be Happy"

Here's a song that I ripped off

It might make you groan or cough

No visa? Thank IMBRA!

Want to see your fiance?

Wait another 90 days!

No visa? Thank IMBRA!

VJers say "our approvals late"

Let's class action litigate!

No visa? Thank IMBRA!

Let's all call the NVC

then we'll phone the VSC

Still nervous? That's US-CIS!

Waiting on our RFE

Aging through bureaucracy

Still nervous? That's US-CIS!

Some they say we can't complain,

We all wait for the same train

Still nervous? That's US-CIS!

Aque, MadMan, ppboo,

Zethris, lewis, rlt too,

and Laura/Luis...here's to us!

It's always darkest before the dawn,

So let's keep hope and pressure on!

Thanks VJ, We're OK

There's the song that I ripped off

Hope you didn't groan or cough

No visa? Thank IMBRA!

Doooo do do do do, do do do , do do do do, do do do do do do dooooo

That was very funny. :P

I do those all the time you know, for a bunch of different things that happen in my life. I should make one for the K1 process. Maybe I´ll make a happy tune once this hell is over, or I´ll end up writing up a greek tragedy if this hell suck me in. :o

I dig it, Cigarovich :D

Hang in there, everyone. Easier said, I know...but, we aren't doing this because it's easy! It sucks, but being with our fiance(e)s is worth all this trouble and more.

And funny songs help too.

I am not a practicing attorney. I have a law degree and I passed the bar exam, but am not admitted to practice because I got a job in legal publishing and haven't gotten around to applying for my license yet. Publishing is great, but it does not make you qualified to give legal advice. So I don't. I just want to get married to my fella, which is why I'm here! If you need legal help, seek the advice of a licensed attorney.

Just ´cus you guys started, I was listening to Bad Day, but Daniel Powter and decided to play with it for a bit. Did just the first part though, as I was waiting for Luis to come online and he´s already here. :P

Where is the approval we wanted so much

We hang up the phone and the hopes are lost

They tell us your case is under way

They tell us your RFE is on it´s way

And we don't need to worry, no

We stand in the line just to get a new touch

We see others smile when their news are good

We think there´s something there each day

We're falling to pieces everytime

We hear there´s nothing going on

Cause we had a bad day

We're talking of time

We wait for an approval to turn it around

They say they don't know

We tell them don't lie

We pray they´ll work and give us a sign

We had a bad day

The process don't lie

They're working too slow and they don´t seem to mind

We had a bad day

We had a bad day

Oh, the weekends. I like MY days off, but adjudicators get weekends too. *Sigh* I finally faced up to the uselessness of checking my case online on Sundays and holidays...

Perhaps if you like Blondie, you remember the song "Sunday Girl?" I think did well in the UK, but never got that popular here. Apologies for the bad French...

I know a girl with an RFE

She returned it last week, Priority

Pace and wait, Sunday Girl

Her hopes run high, she's got her NOA 1

She thinks her case might soon be in London

Keep dreaming, Sunday Girl

VSC's working slow it's true

And they stay at home on Sundays, just like you

Don't hold your breath, Sunday Girl

Je, je ne connais

quand ils vont decider

approver les cases, nouvels et retournes

Ne vous me fachez, Sunday Girl

Maintenant, faut-il vous esperez

S'il vous attendez, vous allez mariees

Ne demandez "quand?," Sunday Girl!

Maybe I have an update online

Does this database reflect real time?

Give it up, Sunday Girl...

Why are the only sucsess stories from the Vermont Service Centers? I wish I had an option to use another center than Texas. The Texas Center has taken the I-129F process times off of the UCIS site. I filed in May and I know that many have waited longer but this no imformation and no way to get any is maddening. I have a INFOPASS appointment on Wednesday at the local Oklahoma City office. I will post sucsess or failure results.

Remember Texas doesn´t process I-129Fs anymore and that your case was probably transfered to CSC.

Thanks for the info. I did not see that Texas was not processing I-129F's anymore. I missed thqt post somehow. Of course UCIS hasn't notified me of any transfer. I look at my case online daily and it hasn't been touched.

I have attached a letter I wrote to my congressman. I hope others will do the same. I called the NSC and was told that my case was transfered to California which has the longest wait time. I wish I could have sent it to Nebraska so I would already have it processed.

Apparently Nebraska will stop processing K1s as well. The processing centers for K1 will be VCS and CSC only starting sometime in the near future.
