Police Cert. ??

My fiance lived in Germany ~4 years ago and got the police cert back in Dec when we first applied for the I129F, it is now going on 6 months (which is how long the cert's are good for) and we have still not recieved the NOA2 and it is looking like we wont get the approval/interview (where she will need the cert's) before the 6 months is up.... any input?

police certs are generally valid for 1 year.... you should double check that...

Maria was under the impression that it was only good for 6 months, if they are good for a year we should be fine. Thanks!

You should be just fine with the one you have - she no longer lives there (presumably) so there should be no reason to obtain another one.

If the police certificate expires, you will need a new one. My wife's in Ukraine was valid for one year.

You know that's a good point. The date does expire the cert. but the cert itself doesn't change at all if you no longer live there. So getting a new cert would mean just obtaining a new expiration date.
