I had my interview last Tuesday (April 7) and - according to Canada Post's tracking system - they haven't even put my visa in the mail yet. Darn four-day weekend....

Yea that sucks! Keeping in mind April 10 & 13th were postal holidays, you should hear something soon!

Had our interview March 16, got the visa on March 19th. Tracking info on the website was accurate. I was surprised, considering all the horror stories i'd heard about canada post.

For those that took a long time getting their visas, maybe they could share their experience with us. Was it a SUCCESSFUL interview and there was just some screw up with the visa or was something further requested at the interview? (Therefore not counted in our poll as a straight-forward SUCCESSFUL interview)

well my hubby's took a long time, and im one of those that had to send more in. but even after it was approved, it took a long long time to get it. we knew it was approved on dec. 19th, but didn't get it till jan. 7th. but i can blame the horrible winter weather, holidays, and it having to go to newfoundland. so unless you live on the lily pad, you should get yours in a decent amount of time lol.
