USCIS lost our Case in March this year, we were given two options, wait around and see if they find it, or refile with an expedite, the officer we have been dealing with told us that honestly it would be quicker to go the way we have.

Service centres have been so quick at processing recently, you could get your NA02 while you're both together in US!

Delivered our I-129F package to Fedex in the Philippines today. Just checked online and it shows a tentative delivery date of April 9th at 12:00noon to VSC. The wait begins.

Well, at least we now know that Fedex is efficient. I delivered my I-129F packet to their office in Olongapo, Philippines on Monday, April 6th at about 12:00 noon. I got email notification that it was received at VSC on April 8th, at 1145am. This is with stops in China, Oakland, and Memphis before hitting Vermont. Way to go Fedex.

And now the real journey begins

We still haven't seen any sight of our NOA1 yet, hoping that it will be here in the next couple of days or early next week

Went online to do some bill paying and noticed that my check had already cleared from USCIS. I viewed the check online and found the receipt number and logged in to the USCIS website. So in short, the summary is I mailed the package from the Philippines on April 6th. On April 8th, the package was received and my NOA1 was issued. (Waiting for the hardcopy). By April 10th, my check had cleared my bank. Wow, that was all very fast. But of course, now we all know the real wait begins.

For us, the wait is not as bad as others. I have a house in the Philippines that my fiance and I live in. I also have my house in America. I go back to America about every 3 or 4 months for a couple of months and then return. I have been doing this for 2 years now. I am hoping my trip back to America in June will be the last I take without Mae.

Sadly Chris and I didn't have a check this time around (they acknowledged that we had already paid so we didn't have to pay a second time)

Hopefully we will see something arrive early this week.

I'll admit though at the moment the waiting isn't bothering me nearly as much. Before we re-filed I quite my job and took a chance at coming over here for 3 months on a visa wavier, thankfully I got in and so Im here until the end of June, we are hoping that all our stuff comes through by then so we will be able to organise it to do the medical and fingerprints like 2 days after I return to Aus and the interview only a couple of weeks later, in a hope that I can fly back to the states in the first week of August. We are both hoping to be married on the 14th of August this year so we can hold our wedding ceremony and reception 1 year to the day on the 14th of August next year (which is already booked).
