iv fee problem

hello vj family! on march 25 we paid our iv fee, the next day it said "paid" so a few days later we went back to print everything and it says "not paid"..... but in our bank account they already took out the 400 on the 26 of march....so i went back to check the fee and still says the same but when we click on the statues its shows my AOS as paid, AND the iv as PAID! so does that mean just the 1st page is wrong and its "paid" since even my bank account shows this? we tried to email the nvc, but we keep geting the "auto response" email saying not to email at this address.... any ideas on this would be helpful, thanks guys!!

this is what happened to us even if we sent them the package with the coversheet and it took them 8 days to fix the problem, you should call NVC

Call NVC, speak to an operator, and ask if the system shows that the payment for the IV bill has been received. If you paid the IV bill before the IV Bill was generated (This can happen because the online system will show that it is available to be paid, before the bill has been generated), one system can show paid, and another can show not paid. If your issue is what I just described, you will have to speak to a supervisor to get it corrected.

I have the same problem cause I paid it before it was Generated and I call the NVC and told me to wait couple of days after that it was all good!

We are on the last leg of your journey @ NVC

The IV Bill even though shows paid online is currently showing pending in the NVC system (been a week). I finally talked the NVC rep in excalating the issue and she finally put in a request yesterday for the supervisor to review....hopefully a resolution without further delay.

You should call and get them to review the IV bill payment

Agreed with Serendipity, before sending documents in with the barcoded sheet make sure the operators can see that IV bill being paid in the NVC case system.

IV PAYMENT:WHAT A PAIN!!!!!

I have the same issue and every time I call they tell me it has been sent to a supervisor for review and I have to give it some time.I had the cover letter & my receipt and the operator told me that I can send my Ds-230 in and I mailed that too.I called yesterday to check again, I was told that she can see that I paid my fee but they have to update it in the system still.I asked her would they go through my DS-230 package or wait until this is fixed and she said yes they will as its two different departments.God only knows now.If its two different department they still have to make sure that the fees are paid even in the system or they just look for the paid fee coverletter

Any TIPS who to get a supervisor on the line to get this mess fixed??????

I may be wrong, but you can only print the barcoded cover sheet from the receipt page AFTER the fees have been satified (paid)...once the barcoded cover sheet is able to be printed why not send it in with the corresponding forms?

another way of looking at this, would be:

(A) Would it be better to HOLD the already printed barcoded cover sheet with the corresponding forms (even though you were able to print said barcoded cover sheet off of the NVC receipt page)....OR

(B) SEND the barcoded cover sheet printed off of the NVC receipt page with correspoding forms (after you are able to print them)and let them deal NVC deal with the payment issues WHILE they already have the documents...

I would go with (B) and will, if it ever becomes an issue...at least they would be holding the package that needs reviewing...good luck everyone
