Hi, I doing some reading on here today, and I was wondering if anyone that has received their new RFE after petion was returned to the US, could let me know how long it took to receive it in the mail after case status change? Here is the E-mail I received today:

Current Status:

On June 22, 2006, we received this case back from the Department of State for further review. We will mail you a notice when our review is complete or when we take other action.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

I am glad to see others have received their RFE's, however I still can't be a little upset that I am still waiting on mine, since my first NOA was March 9 and the second was March 10. My finance had her interview scheduled for May 25, however, it was cancelled due to "The Pope being in Warsaw". I am guessing that was not the real reason after finding about about this new law. Just trying to get some answers like everyone so my fiance and I can plan accordingly. Anyone have any help, advice, etc.?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Because you've gotten NOA's dated after March 6, your petition is under the provisions of IMBRA. You're probably one of the 1,100 cases that were recalled and sent back to the U.S. IMO, this message you got on the status of your case means you'll be getting an RFE soon. When? We don't know.

You may want to check other threads about "NOA2 and IMBRA". You'll get all kinds of useful info there!

Here are the links that you may want to check. I don't know where you've filed your petition. Which service center?
