If only the 2 processing centers would stick with a processing pattern, "and I dont mean a pettern of no approvals" would make many filers happier and more content, and able to plan for next step of ths journey.ANd probley alot less complaints against the service centers.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

just saw 2 friday approvals at vsc

of course there can be delay in knowing approvals

still a low activity week

approved K3s at vsv are August

seems they try to keep up with 6 months for reporting purposes

after doing nonsense earlier

anyway not keeping up with target 2009 of 5 months so far

Hello friends..

its really very hard to wait..and when some people discuss their similar experiances it becomes a easier ..i am very glad we can share our probs here

I also dont understand USCIS timeline about k-3 at VSC says 6 months..how is it possible when some august filers are still waiting..we applied on 7th oct and we were hoping approval near 7th april..i wish we get before 7th april..but it seems difficult because i see that many august filers are still waiting for approvals..

"speeditup" u will hopefully get approval this week as u filed on 15th aug if i am not wrong because many sept filers have also started getting appprovals..just think positive.

I really wonder how 2 people got approval in 53 and 70 days for k-3 visa in VSC..i think they r the lucky people..

according to our calculation we think that it takes about 180-190 days after NOA1 to get NOA2( for k-3 at VSC)..what do u guys think about it?

best of luck to everyone waiting.

may we all get approvals as soon as possible even before we expect:-)

keep smiling everyone

take care

I was told this morning that VSC is processing K3 applications dated Sep 23rd. I am assuming that the 130s will get approved only with the K3. So there is hope!!!

I sent mine in November to VSC and then in January they sent it to CSC for processing. Go figure!!!! Does not make sense to me. When I called the lady told me it was sent to CSC because VSC was too busy to process it. I would think CSC is much busier than VSC!!!

Form our data VSC is now processing July K3 and July I130

after a crazy moment of processing Jan

since last week they kind of shutdown. don't know what they are doing.

Don't believe what they said on the phone about processing september I130s

My gut feeling

for I130 and K3s

sep remaining filers still 1-2 months if lucky I'd say

unless something happens

they are not meeting targets

for K1s they are processing october - november

they are approaching target

According to a K1 filer who was a previous employee of the USCIS the boxes of petitions are assigned to different Adjudicators. The flow of petitions is endless for each Adjudicator. Some work faster than others, therefore, some approve petitions from different dates.

Another Vjer said the quota was 1 per hour, so the theory was some of the easy to complete petitions were let through to keep up the quota. There is no way of knowing if this is true, but it makes sense.

Anyway, VJ is just a small sample of the petitions, so just because Vjers are not being approved does not mean petitions from the population are not being approved.

The wait is hard, but hang in there. From our group two years ago, one couple waited 533 days for an approval. So, 180 days from your I-129f receipt date is short in comparison. Hang in there, your turn will come.

I just talked to them today at CSC. I really hate them so much. They know nothing, and there is a wall between them and the actual people doing claims.

Anyway, she (Brittney G 66-4933) said that they are currently processing I-129f's for on or before Sept. 15, 2008. I don't know what the before means. The website still says 6 months.

I also contacted the them two weeks ago when my i-130 went passed the six month processing time. I made it to the next level and talked to an Officer Richardson, who did a service request. (Again, there is a wall between them and the actual information. "I can only tell you what I see on the computer screen", he says.)

The service request resulted in a form letter saying, "Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 90 days of this letter, please call the customer service at the number provided below"

90 days!?!?!? Oh I am livid.

Sorry for the rant. But why do the charts on this page indicate something so different?

Who are these people that get processed right away?

Has anyone tried an InfoPass request? Does anyone have any idea why we can't find out why our case takes so long?

Thanks for listening,

Calvin
