I-134 Form....Notarized or not???

I am confused.

It says on the form notarized, on the checklist. But, on the new forms there is no section for the notarizer. I have read different things.

But in the old forms they sent with P3, there is a section for them to sign.

Of course, we waited till the last minute (I am leaving tomorrow) and I just noticed it has to be notarized.

If we sign the new forms do they still have to be???

We just got them notarized even though there was no space... we used the bottom right hand corner. My fiance's co-worker is a notary so it was easy to get for us so we did it to be safe.

"...it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a Notary, nor to have your signature notarized after you sign it..."

When you went to the interview were they look "Hmmmmm... where is the - .......oh! Bingo...there is the notariziation!" Like, did they comment on it?

Grrr, why am I such a procrastinator!!!

I know, it's like, you wanna play it safe. I guess he will have to do it on his own time and send it to me priority mail before the interview.

Well I know, but on the other it does and they sent me the one that DOES ask for it in P3. Maybe they choose some to have it???? I have no idea.

I wonder if I use the new form and show up with that if they will ask for it??

You can use the new I-134 without notarization in Montreal.

I confirmed this before and used them without a hitch at the interview.

Checklist s out of date, the new I-134 does not need to be notarized PER USCIS.
