Hi guys!

I need your help...

My husband sent me the affidavit of support from my father-in-law attached there is his certificate of employment from social security, bank account but not income taxx return or w-2?I read in a lot of forums that they need an income tax return or w-2 in the interview. What is the difference between them? im confused are they both required in the interview.

My father-in-law has many assets do I need to get a copy ownership title of all his assets stated in his affidavit?

Please help me.....

OR IRS Transcripts.

l. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

Tell ur HUSBAND,

All ur father has to do is call the IRS to send him the TAX transcrite for 2005,2006, 2007. If it is mailed it takes less than 6 working days.

IF he has FAx machine by him side , it would be fax to him within 10 minutes of his call.

TAX transcript and certificate of employment letter is what the NVC want. NO need to have headache over making copies of the asset documents.

Do he need to sign a new affidait? his affidavit was sept when he filed my 129f?

Does he need to sign a new one for my interview?

Yes.

I-134 is required at time of interview, NOT when filing an I-129F.

Moving this to consulate embassy forum.

You need to get a copy of his 2008 tax return and related W-2s or 1099s.

I believe the instructions of the I-134 state that recent (not 7 months old) info is required. Have you read those instructions?

Some consulates don't place much importance on the I-134 - others will review in detail.

Also, when you do AOS in the US, you will need to do a I-184.

Oh sorry that was i meant.

He used it with 130 right?

Does he need to do a new one? for my interview?

Are you interviewing for K-3 or CR-1??? If K-3 then a recently filled out I-134 will be needed for interview. IF CR-1 the affidavit of support (I-864) was sent to and processed by NVC and will not be needed at the interview.

K-3 uses I-130 first for a CR-1 or IR-1 IMMIGRANT visa, and then files an I-129F shortly after USCIS receives the I-130.

Affidavit of support does have a shelf life, the consulate Can demand one that is newer than one from last september.

Note: Manila does review the I-134 in detail.

Also Note: there is no such thing as and I-184, You mean I-864.
