I assume you mean email notification of the approval, and the hard copy came 7 days later, Mike & Yizhen

I think many people receive their approval by regular mail(hard copy).

I got an email but application is still pending on website. I got my NO2(s) in the mail a couple of days later. My only touch was 2 months before.

We got a hard copy in the regular mail, but funny thing is on the USCIS website it still says case received and pending, i've since received packet 3 from the embassy,

so guessing they havent updated the online case file yet

I didnt get any email from uscis and on web it still shows case received and pending.... i happened to call NVC AVR just coz i was getting upset and more anxious and to my surprise i got NVC case number....the day i got my last touch we got approved... still didnt get NoA2

Our Senator told us it had been approved. He got involved after 7 1/2 months and when they got back to him they told him they approved it 2 days before they returned his call. Coincidence??? We never had a single touch or anything!
