from MNL to DTW (Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport)?

Probably my visa will be here next week wednesday, that would be the latest.

Oh well, i just want to canvas prices so i could get one and be with my fiance AS SOON AS POSSIBLE once my visa arrived.

I don't want to wait for 3 weeks. I am going crazy!! :wacko: Seriously. :blink:

Try checking the Northwest office in manila, they normally have very good prices and they fly to Detroit. ( My home town!)

try calling mangotours.com or you can try expedia.com...

normally its way more cheaper here in the philippines rather than buying online but my dad got roundtrip ticket from us to philippines in mangotours he got it for $750 dollars without tax. you can try that :thumbs::star:

If it's MNL-DTW, the cheapest route is Northwest starts at 750USD for one way! Good luck!!!

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

Yes, good advice, watch out or strap up if you travel in 8mile, 7mile, brightmoor, 6mile, mack nickels, highland park: Not the best places to walk the dog, to say the least. Latin Kings, MS 13, Black Mafia Family rule these mean streets. :o

Last week I was checking prices online. Like for instance PAL direct from Manila to Los Angeles, CA.

The one-way ticket for my wife was more than a round-trip ticket for me. What the heck!!!!

I got a little better pricing checking Continental's website.

If I didn't have bad luck, I would have no luck at all!

WOW!! this is what i am looking for, direct flights. Cause honestly, i do not have the patience to transfer from one plane to another. LOL. Oh well, it's just me.

it will also depend on the dates..so you have to search every date which has the direct flight from manila to dtw..

Also, try mobissimo or cheapoair.com. And as previously mentioned, be flexible on your dates, as it can make several hundred dollars difference.
