Can Biometric appointment Saturday?

Hi,

I got Biometric appointment notice but it is on 3/14 which is Saturday. Is it possible that government officers can work on Saturday? Or is it printed wrong? If there is anyone who did biometric on Saturday, could you let me know?

Hi james yoon,

Yes most of the ASC office (biometric offices) are open on Saturdays and are less busy. My original appointment was for March 10th, I went to my ASC (mentioned in the Biometric notice letter) last Saturday and they didn't ask any question and let me do the biometrics.

Yep, my AOS biometrics was on a Saturday. This time I was scheduled for Thursday, but it was just as empty, lucky me.

yup, my biometrics appointment was on saturday

Mailed N-400 March 6th via priority certified mail and Rec'd 9th (confirmation by USPS)

NOA rec'd: 3/19/2009 (date 3/16/2009, priority 3/9/2009)

Biometrics rec'd 3/26/2009, appt 4/9/2009

IL: 5/22/09

ID: 07/06/2009

Oath: 07/16/2009

SSN updated: 7/16/2009 (not received yet)

Passport rec'd: 8/15/2009(nat. certif not rec'd yet)

My husband's biometrics appointment was on a Saturday also.

I-129F Sent: Nov. 14, 2005 - Approved: March 21, 2006 - Visa Received: Jun. 18, 2006 - US Entry: July 23, 2006 at JFK

MARRIED: AUG. 12, 2006 12:00 PM - AOS Filed: Sept. 27, 2006 NOA: Oct. 02, 2006 - Approved: YES~! - Green Card Received: Nov. 11, 2006

EAD e-Filed: Oct. 07, 2006 - NOA: Oct. 10, 2006 - Approved? - Ignored by USCIS as AOS came 1st - free money for USCIS~!

Ours was on Saturday. As I recall the office hours were tues-sat, with Sun and Mon the days they were closed.
