Any March filers, I just sent our I-130 petition out!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im soooooo happy!!! Taken us 8 months to re-file, but we did it!!!!!!

Good luck all waiting for their loved ones to join them.

2009-03-02 : I-130 Sent

2009-03-04 : I-130 received by USCIS

2009-03-10 : I-130 NOA1 (Check has been cashed on March 11, 09)

2009-03-13 : Touched

2009-03-30 : I-130 Approved! 20 days after NOA1

2009-04-17 : NVC Received and assigned case # (18 days after NOA2)

2009-04-22 : Received DS-3032/I-864 Bill

2009-04-22 : Return Completed DS-3032 trough e-mail (accepted by NVC on May 04, 09, finally after 12 days)

2009-04-23 : Pay I-864 Bill

2009-04-28 : Return Completed I-864 (NVC upload in their system on May 1, 09)

2009-05-04 : Pay IV Bill

2009-05-05 : Receive IV Bill in our email

2009-05-06 : Return Completed IV package/DS-230 (NVC upload it in their system on May 11, 09)

2009-05-26 : Case Completed at NVC (39 days from case# assigned)

2009-06-04 : NVC Left

2009-06-08 : Consulate Received

2009-07-15 : Medical check up

question is there andy way of knowing your service center ?

if mine i mailed from scand how long does it take normally to get noa1 i know its not even reached them yet but im stir crazy for information

i got my noa1 today on it says recieved february 23,2009, and notice date march 3 2009

Well the service center depends on where you live, but I understand that some petitions that are suppose to go to VSC is actually going to CSC. You will know where your petitin lays once you receive your NOA 1 in about a week or so.

i already found one mistake i hope will not effect anything i wrote check to uscis

when acctually its supposed to be written to

U.S. Department of Homeland Security

according to this link that is

i hope it will have no effect tho they should be able to cash that one?

Oh, that is a toughy. I hope it goes thru, in reality, they are all under one agencies, U.S.Customs, USDA, Immigration, Etc. since 9/11. All checks I write out is issued to DHS. If you get NOA 1, your okay!!!!! I have written checks to U.S. Customs & Border Protection, when it should of been DHS, and they went thru the bank fine. Old habits are hard to break. Good luck!!!

I hope it will be okay tomuts:) Me and my hubby wrote the check to DHS. I also can't wait to receive NOA 1, I think we'll receive it sometimes next week.
