I'm starting this thread to share info with people that had their I-129F approved and then sent back to the USCIS. My petition arrived back at Vermont on 06/12/06. I have not received any updates online since my petition was approved on 04/06/06.

Any additional comments or info would be appreciated.

Good.

My interview was scheduled for June 6th and got recalled.

My case was received by VSC on May21st I think.

No updates so far which is making me miserable.

Hopefully, if all of us NOA2's group together we can find out what is happening. Good to meet you! I have a feeling we will get our notices soon.

I have yet to see any NOA2's that have received any notices of RFEs in their email. If this is not the case, please post.

I have a NOA receipt of March 9th and the petition was recalled from Moscow. We had a June 8th interview date. Have'nt heard anything and all calls to USCIs and the VSC are futile and or mis-information. One day they said they have received my case back and then today they say they haven't received anything back on our case. Totally frustrating to say the least. I will post when/if I get the RFE. Then who knows what happens next

My NOA2 was dated 4/18. The London Consulate says our petition was sent back to Vermont on 5/18, but Vermont can't confirm they have it. I spoke to someone at Vermont yesterday, who said that she 'thinks' our petition is back, since our case file is in the office and not in storage. But I haven't been touched since May 1.

Same boat as the rest of you:

NOA 1: 4/12

NOA 2: 4/25

Found out 5/26 Moscow Embassy had sent it back

Nothing since. All calls to VSC and USCIS have just lead to more frustration.

USCIS web site still lists it as approved on 4/25 with no touches since 5/1.

That's a very good question, we never received any notification at all besides a phone call from the consulate to my fiancee. I found out that my petition was recalled like everyone else, through the State Dept. memo and that phone call. Has anyone received any sort of unsolicited documentation from their consulate, NVC, or USCIS in reference to the "recall" It seems like it is handled differently at every consulate.

We didn't receive a call, email, or mail. They sent my fiancee packet 3 on May 10, and during the time she was filling it out, I emailed the consulate to question them. Go figure on 6-6-06 she sent DS-230 back, and hours after I received an email saying they sent our petition back to the US on May 12. They also said that the DS-230 was mistakenly sent and she will have to fill out a new one. Tell me about being pissed.

ouch, that's wrong!

2 days after booking my trip to go to Mexico for the consulate interview thing, they called her on the phone and said it was sent back. In Mexico, you don't need an appt. for the interview.

In any case, I'm sure we'll be some of the first ones to get RFES, I hope!

This is not looking good at all.

I think I wasn´t the only one here who called USCIS during this time (after recalled/before public notice) and was told my petition was going under security checks.

I wonder how informed the staff was and if we got into one of those cases where they put the petition on security checks for 6 months or so...

I mean, why no updates? Why people with NOA1 from May are getting emails talking about RFE being sent?

Why no one can tell us what will happen to our cases?

It´s much worse to be in our situation than filing out the new I129F today and waiting for it.

They know everything will be ok and we don´t know when we´ll hear anything.

I couldn´t call USCIS today and my lawyer made it clear he won´t call them until he hears something from them.

This is riidiculous since they made a mistake with our applications! They should be treating us with more respect and apologising to us by giving us a priority treatment.
