We sent the form back in June, hubby went for Biometrics on Aug 9th, and we had not heard anything ever since...

I wonder why they've sent it somewhere else? This is the 3rd Service Center we go to!

it just means that your case has been forwarded to the California Service Center....as far as I can see...I guess you should get your approval soon!

You are so lucky that it has not been forwarded to Vermont Service Center....

Well, not that lucky, we sent the Forms to TSC, then it got trasnferred to VSC where it has been since July last year, and now down to California... I guess we are lucky that we are no longer in Vermont?????

It has been discussed lately in the forum. VSC is transfering 80,000 cases to CSC to relieve their backlog. I think you're the first one here to get that notice. Some of the people waiting for approval in the next couple of weeks were concerned that this transfer would delay even more the process. But since you're from June 2008 i think is safe to assume that at least March and April 2008 won't be tranfered to CSC

I have just checked the processing times of CSC and it says that they are processing within 6months. Now, I am wondering, will it take a further 6 months for them to process? Or will they expedite it a bit because we have been waiting for 8 months?

I have a bad feeling about this. I am getting close. I am TX but sent to VSC (I read the notice the day before I mailed). But now it looks like I will probably still get transferred to CSC.

I seriously doubt CSC will keep up their fast pace once they receive the backlog of files from VSC...

GolferAdam we are in TX too. I am not sure what will happen now, but I am not at all happy about this... Especially because it seems like it will take another 6 months of wait before we hear anything... However, I notice that you sent your paperwork in May, we sent ours in June, and got transferred, do you think yours might have stayed in VSC? Or have you received a NOA like mine above?

i thought CSC is working pretty fast. Am I wrong?

Anyway...fingers are crossed for a fast approval for all of you!

I just filed in December....so mine will take a while until something is going to happen. :-(

I would hope that the files transfered to CSC will be processed according to original Receipt Date at VSC and they're not put at the end of the line.

I filed at the end of July at VSC.

It looks like they're transfering I-751 from June and on. We will see.

So far I haven't received any email from USCIS.

Given that you had biometrics on Aug 9th, I would say in the second half of June, right?

Interesting - I wonder what date ranges they will transfer - we are a June 08 filer also and also from TX, haven't seen anything yet. I'm assuming CSC will process them according to original filing date, even though the official timeline says 6 months, the VJ CSC tracker indicates about 3 months...
