Okay, so my wife's green card expires on Saturday. We filed for lifting of conditions in late October. Received her NOA 1 and she had her biometrics taken on December 3rd. We were just talking today about the fact that we hadn't heard anything, so we got online and went to the USCIS site and entered her application receipt number on her form and it's coming up as the following:

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

I've checked the number to the point that I can recite it, so I know I'm entering it correctly.

I am going to call the 800 number, but just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing this. We live in Massachusetts, so it's VSC.

Thanks,

-Q

we`re not anywhere close from lifting conditions, but both my AP and EAD got approved with the exact same message (i could track them the day after i got approved).

I still get the `your case could not be found` for the AOS, for which i received an interview notice today.

all were approved within very normal processing times. just want to say: it doenst mean anything bad.

but i know how you feel, very frustrating...

good luck,

i`m sure you`ll hear something soon

btw, we`re in mass aswell (but our cases are not in vermont so i guess that doesnt really matter)

Use the number from the Biometrics notice - if you look carefully it's different - and thats the one you need to track your application.

Jamieswith is right - the number on the receipt is an internal use number only and never works to check online status. The number that is on the biometrics appointment letter is the one you need to use. You can set it up to send you email notifications of changes in status as well. The application type will be listed as a CR189, not an I-751 as well. That is correct so don't worry.

As I recall, when we did Claudeth's, the number on the NOA was never entered into the system.

Are you entering the letters as well (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC)?

I was getting the same error to begin with, it finally registered after my biometrics appointment.

Officially a citizen. My journey took 6 years, 6 months, and 29 days
