hello to all,i am newbie here!may i know here who filed to nebraska service center ?just want some more info about k1....

HAPPILY MARRIED TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND

November 19,2009------Got married

January 19,2010--------Application received date by USCIS

January 28,2010--------Notice date for Biometrics

February 12,2010--------Biometrics appointment @ 9am (done)

February 15,2010--------Last Updated (I-485 & I-765)

February 18,2010--------dated by USCIS(scheduling for my interview)

January 25,2010--------NOA1 date(I-485,I-765,I-131)

January 29,2010--------touch for my AP

February 15,2010--------touch for my EAD

March 11,2010-----------for my AOS..and always checking our mailbox..hehehe

March 10,2010------------Interview for my AOS @ 9am (done) and waiting for the result.. whew...

March 22,2010------------Received my Greencard!so happy!

Nebraska service center no longer processes K1. Check the VJ K1 guidelines and uscis.gov for the most updated info.

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

N400:
4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

Yes, please check where to mail the K-1 packet on USCIS's web site. They may be nice and automatically trnasfer you??? Nebraska hasn't accepted K-1s in over a year and a half.

Yes, please check where to mail the K-1 packet on USCIS's web site. They may be nice and automatically trnasfer you??? Nebraska hasn't accepted K-1s in over a year and a half.

Our lawyer sent our application to Nebraska last November 1, 2007. It was returned to the lawyer (she should have known better :blink: ) Nov. 27, a delay of almost a month for the reason that they no longer process K-1 applications. Attached was an instruction to send it to California Service Center.

After your I129F package is received, you should expect your NOA1 within two weeks.

yes he send already to our lawyer last week..but my fiance told was filed at nebraska but when i post here some members replied that nebraska no longer process k1.so i am confused..ohhh maybe my fiance must ask his lawyer about this to make sure...

I am pretty sure the Alaska filers will use the Califorina Service Center for filing all K1 applications.

Your lawyer should have been fully aware of this...

Almost any questions you have can be answered but the wonderful folks here at VJ.
