Yes! I am approved! i received my approval notice yesterday. and it says i have to wait 60 days for my new green card. i hope i will get it next week because i will be out of the country for the holidays. im sooooooo happy...but i wonder i dont have that current status: card production ordered...just like some other people got, it only says: approval notice sent!

anyhow, no RFE no interview. and im so happy! thank you guys for helping me in this journey!

1/14/2008- VSC got my file

2/12/2008- biometrics

11/20/2008- approval notice received, letter dated 11/15/2008

I would like to know for those who already got their greencard, how long did you get your actual greencard from the day you receive your approval notice? i will be travelling dec 17 and i want to have it with me. thanks

After such a long ?? (how long was it for you exactly) month wait, she deserves it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Ikyang!

Good luck too on the Citizenship application and the rest of the immigration journey!

Mine also said approval notice sent. I wonder what the difference is?

06/09/10 Get RCMP certificate showing no criminal record. Fax off to senators office.

06/23/10 Approved for Citizenship

06/24/10 USCIS contacts Senators office

06/28/10 Find out that I have been approved for citizenship and they are just waiting to schedule my oath.

07/12/10 Put in line for oath ceremony....wonder how long that will be!

08/18/10 Called USCIS confirmed they sent oath letter for 09/17/2010 at 9am.

09/17/10 Oath ceremony at 9am..... US Citizen!!!! Applied for passport.
