I doubt if you ever had a I-693. It has to come from a USCIS designated civil surgeon. Sounds like they didn't go for the letter explaining the W2s since they are asking for a joint sponsor. She should have submiytted tax transcripts.

Hi, This is something I can maybe help with. My husbands has 2 companies, yes they dont't get W2's BUT the DO file 1040 with all the supporting schedules. She should have known this.

As far as the joint sponsor they are asking for I HIGHLY reccommend that you get 1. With my 1st RFE they asked for more evidence of his assets and then suggested a Joint Sponsor. We didn't get one, we sent in what we thought would be more than enough in Assets (My husbands owns 30 houses) and they again sent an RFE asking us to please get a Joint Sponsor. I wish I would have listened to them the 1st time as now I still don't have anything from them. No EAD, No AP, No Interview date.

Get a joint sponsor. Contacting your congressman will do nothing for you at this point, all they need is what they are asking for and you will be well on your way.

And Haole is right, you must get an I-693 from a USCIS civil surgeon.

Contact the senator's office right away - they helped us out, the I-693 documentation surrendered at the airport was sitting at the local district office.. They just forwarded them to CSC, hopefully they don't get lost in transit, I would not be surprised..... So senator's aids do have some "contacts" they can use in order to get things done right.. Good luck!

Sorry but that's pretty much impossible unless they have USCIS Desiginated Civil Surgeons in other countries now!

We just called Immigration and they told us to send in the K1 visa approval and then we should be fine.Im praying that we will be!!!!

What phone number did you call to reach immigration? I can't get through to anyone who can help me and I have the same situation regarding the medical exam RFE. Calling my congressman didn't help enough, they said they'd only help after I've had an infopass appointment with USCIS. Unfortunately this means us both taking off work and travelling an hour there and back while I'm 7 months pregnant!

We will be going to a appointment next Wednesday !! I hope this helps!
