Who's in the area? Who might be interested? Should I try to put something together for say April/May? Maybe March? Ideas, suggestions, who's in/who's out? Let me hear ya out there VJers!

You come up for Chicago and I will come down there for Cajun! :thumbs: Our anniversary is in March, would be a good time for a weekend getaway. When is the weather good? (as in ..not hurricane season? )

Can't make Chicago - no $$ right now... weather is good here Nov-May. Not *too* hot, hurricane season finishes in Oct, and well, frankly, it rarely gets *really* cold here.

We are hoping to go to Morocco in the summer, but I'd love to go to the meetup if we can manage it as well.

I'm the USC.

11/05/2007........Conditional permanent residency effective date.

01/10/2008........Two-year green card in hand.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

Technically, hurricane season runs to December.

There is a slight chance I may be down that way then. The meetings that for the past 2 years have been in D.C. are scheduled to take place elsewhere next year. New Orleans is on the list.

(BTW....I think this is inevitable....I am listening to the Counting Crows and he's singing about New Orleans right now. Feels like karma!)
