I can't believe it..

I just got off the phone with them and they said they really liked me and they had just gotten off the phone with one of references who always gives me a glowing report.. :D and I worked for them like 10 years ago..

the job is being a nanny for 2 boys, 4 or 5 months and 3 years old.. it is only 2 days a week but about 6 or so hours a day...

I start on Tuesday...

This is good though...it's your first US work experience and that will go a LONG way if you decide at some point to find something with more hours. Sounds like it will be just the thing for you. I'm happy. :)

yeah, I didn't want to start off with a full time job... and from the sounds of it they might need me for more days a week somewhere down the line..

Congrats, I start my first job on Tuesday too and hubby is more excited than I am.. coz he looks forward to getting his new Nikon DSLR camera next month..

Do a little jig in the kitchen - then go find something appropriate to wear for Tuesday. Trust me - you'll take all afternoon. Really happy for you girl! :thumbs:
