hello guyz in the time of interview do they ask for the original copy of w2's federal letter and employer letter? i already sent it to the nvc and it was approved june 14. i just want to ask in the time of interview if they need the original copy of it or photocopy is ok? my sister is my co sponsor and all she can give me is the photocopy help please asap ty in advance

If NVC has blessed the I-864 then you should be good to go.... (I doubt they will even ask for your copies)....

thank you for the quick respond. but someone told me they need original copy in the time of interview =( my sister she doesnt want to send the original copy bec it might be lost in mail. ty

Maybe for a K visa... I would thing a CR(IR) visa is different

FWIW, your sister's originals are on file with the Internal Revenue Service... All she ever had in her possesion was copies....

thank you so much do they need recent employer letter? bec she requested it last 2 months ago.when we sent it to nvc. she can give me a photocopy of her recent pay stub.

Those documents that you've send to NVC will be forwarded to the US Embassy Manila. So if the consul ask for the original copy, just say its already with them. Just bring the photocopy. I only bring copies of those documents in the embassy.

I just have photocopies of my fiance's employment letter, bank letter, tax returns and even the I-134

thank you. im not really sure if i will ask my sister to get an employer letter again since we already sent it to nvc 2 months ago. all she can provide right now is the photocopy of her recent paystub and her w2's and income tax return all photocopy thank you guyz ty ty ty

You dont have to show any of those documents. They were all forwarded to the embassy by the NVC. I asked my sponsor to send his personal copies of ITR, paystubs etc..(all that he already sent to the NVC). I even photocopied them but none of them even asked to see by my consul. Only pictures and personal letters/cards. I'm on IR1 visa. By the time of the interview those documents are in the hands of your consul. You will observe it believe me

had my interview yesterday sept.2 they asked my fiance's w2,itr and i-134, all original copies, but if your original copies were sen to the nvc, i think the us embassy wouldn't ask you for it good luck and god bless you

p.s i was trying to observe the consul yesterday and i noticed all the documents that phil sent to the uscis
