Your petition has been approved. Since you did not file I-129f it is a stand alone I130 petition. I would recommend that you stick with this filing because nowadays it is being processed faster then with I-129f. It will now go to NVC and your petitioner will have to submit information to them such as the I-864 which is the need to show that he/her can provide for you. Then he/her will also need to submit the DS-230 and supporting documents which he will receive from you. There will also be 2 fees he/she will need to pay; AOS FEE and IV fee. The good thing about this track is that once your beneficiary arrives he/she doesn't file for an adjustment of status which cost around $1045 in addition to fees you pay for petitioning. I suggest you view the guides on Visajourney. Hope that helps.good luck.

Congratulations...!

You can't file I-129F now that your I-130 is approved, because the whole idea of a K3 visa is to go to US while waiting for the I-130 to get approved.

Anyway, your spouse will have a much superior CR1 visa when you proceed with the I-130 path.

Read the guide by Loto or James short cut carefully. The USC spouse can start prepare the affidavit of support documents and the foreign spouse start collecting all the civil documents required. You will be able to get out of NVC in 4-6 weeks if all the documents are ready to go out!

its says I-130 is approved, but i just want to hear it from somebody..(i cant believe it though that its approved so quickly) NOw, my problem is what to do next, coz i already ask one of the agency here to help me with my K3 visa, and also i talk to some agencies and they said that Immigrant visa processing is longer than K3, but base on what i read in this forum their processing time is the same. Im confused, i need help on this..Also, if i proceed to CR-I is there any agency here in cebu, philippihnes, that u can refer me? im scared if i do it my self,i commit mistakes..

**we havent filed the I-129F yet, but planning to send it on monday, we r still on the stage of assembling our documents.

Congrats! Yes, your petition is approved. :-)

which is wiser? go for K3 or CR-1? we want the quicker one but if the difference is only one month we will go for CR-1 but i need to know exactly how many months is the difference..

you are lucky to have ur CR-1 approved. u shud b least worried about K3...u have a much superior path in your hand. Good luck and congrats.
